What is Pinsight?
Pinsight is a pin trading app for pin collectors, made for park days and every day in between. Take one photo of a pin board, a lanyard or your own pouch and Pinsight picks out each pin. Is Pinsight free?
Yes. Pinsight is free to download, and trading with other collectors is always free, including asking for a Pin Rescue. Pinsight+ is an optional upgrade with extras like multi-step trade paths.
Do I need to be at a park to use Pinsight?
No. Parks are where Pinsight shines, but it works wherever you trade. It matches you with collectors who live near you, who visit the same resort, or who trade by mail, and keeps your collection and Grails up to date from home.
How does Pinsight recognize pins?
Snap a photo of a pin board, a lanyard or your pouch. Pinsight reads every pin in the photo and matches it to its pin catalog. When it isn't sure, it asks you instead of guessing.
Does Pinsight share my location?
No. Other collectors see “a collector nearby,” never where you are, and names only appear once a trade is agreed. Your board, your call: park boards keep the map fresh, while your own board stays private unless you choose to share it, and you can cover any pins you'd rather keep to yourself. Scanning a friend's lanyard never puts their pins on a map.
